NYT has always felt like a second home to me, a safe space where I can be myself, feel comfortable and surrounded by people who share the same passion. From the moment I joined eight years ago, there has never been anywhere else I would rather be. What makes NYT so special is the supportive and welcoming environment, where everyone encourages each other and shares a love for what we do. The teachers are incredibly caring, approachable and supportive, guiding us through our individual journeys and helping us grow in confidence, both on and off the stage. NYT is so much more than a theatre school, it’s a place where I feel I truly belong.

NYT is an incredible company to be part of! The teachers are so kind, supportive and passionate about helping you create an amazing show at the end of every term. One of the best things about NYT is the opportunity to perform in three different shows each year, with incredible costumes, props and set bringing every production to life. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming which makes NYT feel like a second home. The opportunities provide us to explore a wide range of characters while developing singing, dancing and acting skills which is truly amazing. I’ve made so many wonderful friends through NYT, and I know that even when I leave, those friendships will continue. NYT offers so much more than just performing opportunities, it gives you the chance to grow in confidence, develop your skills and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
