Nicole Cutbush - Artistic & Musical Theatre Director
Background
Nicole is an experienced performing arts educator and director with a passion for nurturing young talent and inspiring the next generation of performers. Nicole is passionate about creating an inspiring, supportive and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their skills and reach their full potential.
- A former member of NYT Newark from 2006 to 2011, Nicole’s journey has come full circle, returning to share her knowledge and passion with the next generation.
- Graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a First-Class Honours degree in Dance and Theatre.
- Over 12 years of experience teaching Musical Theatre, alongside five years of teaching at NYT.
- Performed with amateur theatre companies across the East Midlands, bringing valuable practical performance experience into her teaching and directing.
- A qualified LAMDA facilitator, supporting students in developing their performance skills, confidence and technique.
- Experienced in delivering school productions, after-school workshops and performing arts projects.
- Experienced in leading and delivering engaging holiday camps that encourage creativity, teamwork and a love of performing.
- Qualifications: Enhanced DBS. Chaperone Licensed. First Aid Trained. Designated Safeguarding Lead Level 3. GDPR Training. Prevent Training.

Megan Woodfield - Choreographer & Tutor
Background
Megan brings a wealth of dance experience, creativity and passion to her work, inspiring young performers to develop their technique, confidence and individuality through movement.
- Achieved a Level 4 Diploma in Dance through Chantry School’s vocational programme.
- Qualified dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
- Former NYT student (2014–2018), returning in 2018 as a tutor and choreographer.
- Experienced in teaching dance and creating choreography for New Youth Theatre, secondary schools across Lincolnshire, and Chantry Dance’s pre-professional youth company, Origins.
- In 2022, became one of the youngest choreographers to have her work created and performed on the main stage at the Move It dance convention.
- Performed as a dance artist in Chantry Dance’s touring productions across the UK in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
- Qualifications: Enhanced DBS. Chaperone Licensed. First Aid Trained. Designated Safeguarding Lead Level 3.

Niamh McNulty - Musical Director
Background
Niamh is a dedicated and enthusiastic Musical Director with a genuine passion for the performing arts and a love for working with children. Niamh brings energy, creativity and a supportive approach to every class, helping students build confidence and develop their skills in a fun and inclusive environment.
- Former student at NYT from 2013 to 2024, gaining extensive performance and stage experience.
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring children and young people of all ages and abilities.
- Early years practitioner in a nursery.
- Holds qualifications in Musical Theatre LAMDA.
- Qualifications: Enhanced DBS. Chaperone Licensed. First Aid Trained. Designated Safeguarding Lead Level 1.
