New Youth Theatre - Doncaster Centre
Introduction
The section below sets out the Terms and Conditions by which New Youth Theatre agrees to provide
products and services to you and your child/children.
When a service or product is booked from New Youth Theatre, you are agreeing to these Terms and
Conditions which are to be found on this Website. New Youth Theatre reserve the right to modify, cancel
or append to Terms and Conditions below.
New Youth Theatre reserves the right to offer trial discounts at their own discretion.
If the full payment of the terms fees are not paid 2 weeks prior to a production date, New Youth Theatre
reserves the right to suspend a pupil or pupils and pursue payment for the full amount at the time of
booking.
We reserve the right to alter, vary, omit or substitute any part or parts of any production or
Workshop/Summer Camp provided by us described in any promotional or other materials published by us or
on our behalf.
In the event of any change in any content as described above, we will have no liability to refund any
part of any fee or deposit paid.
In the event that your child is excluded, no fees or deposits will be repaid to you and we reserve the
right to seek payment of the balance of any fees due to us.
RETURNED PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation
You may cancel your booking within 14 days of completing an Online Booking Form. Your intent to cancel
request must be made via email to your local NYT centre.
Written letters, verbal communications or telephone communications will not be accepted as valid notice
of your intent to cancel your membership.
Refunds will be made in the form in which the original payment was made, except cash, which will be
refunded by cheque.
We may make an administrative charge of £7.00 to cover cheques returned unpaid or unreasonably disputed
credit card payments.
New Youth Theatre also reserves the right to charge £7.00 to cover administrative, Payments Processors; Bank
charges on all refunds.
If the current term commences (or has already commenced) within the 14-day cooling-off period we reserve
the right to deduct the proportionate cost of sessions already attended.
In circumstances where a payment is returned:
We reserve the right to exclude your child without refund in relation to missed sessions until the
amount of the returned payment is repaid in full.
Jazz shoes and a New Youth Theatre T-shirt must be purchased and worn by the child to each term time
class. We reserve the right to refuse admission without refund if a child is not wearing a correct New
Youth Theatre T-shirt.
Refunds are completely at the discretion of New Youth Theatre.
It is your responsibility to alert us to any medical condition or history suffered by your child.
New Youth Theatre do not accept responsibility for children left by a parent or guardian on the premises
or venues until signed off by a New Youth Theatre facilitator.
We do not accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, personal property belonging to you or
your child in session or in theatre.
New Youth Theatre reserve the right to dismiss any constant disruptive member at its discretion without
refund.
General Terms & Conditions
The Personal data included on this website will be administered (as such terms are defined in the EU
GDPR [May 2018]) by New Youth Theatre and/or the Director(s) of each New Youth Theatre Centre for the
purposes of administration, research, the provision of teaching services in singing, dance and drama,
the organisations under legislation relating to children. New Youth Theatre will not disclose this
information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Rehearsal fees and term information can be found online and in our termly Newsletter. An application
will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment of the required full fee (or
deposit where applicable). Receipt of the application and any fees paid at the time of application will
be confirmed in writing along with all relevant term details and acceptance of any student is not
confirmed until that correspondence has been issued.

Rehearsals take place once a week during the normal three academic terms. The term dates for the current
production and following term will be made known in our online termly Newsletter.
Written confirmation from New Youth Theatre of an application confirming that a student has been
allocated a place establishes a contract for the provision of teaching services.
New Youth Theatre reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion.
New Youth Theatre reserves the right to make changes to the term dates and to the teaching staff.
Fees are reviewed annually.
During the course of rehearsals and dress rehearsal New Youth Theatre will have a professional theatre
photographer and local press taking photographs for promotional and archive use. To use these
photographs we need parental consent, this can be found on our booking form.
Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform New Youth Theatre and its staff of any
existing injuries or medical conditions.
Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings. New Youth Theatre can accept no liability for
lost or damaged belongings.
The liability of New Youth Theatre and that of its staff is restricted to rehearsal and performance
times only and then only to gross negligence.
