We want to offer potential members
the chance to come along on any Saturday morning to
see what it’s all about and get a taster of how we
work. |

If you then wish to join you can
sign up there and then. This can be done on any
Saturday. Just give us a call to let us know
you would like to attend.
Fees will be charged on a

The Autumn Term at NYT
Gainsborough brings lots of exciting news! |

We are
moving to a more central location in Gainsborough at
the Old Nick Theatre
(opposite Marshalls Yard) |
|
|
|
With
our new location and new theatre we are adding a new
Senior Group. Our regular Tots and Juniors Group
will have the chance to rehearse and perform The
Wizard of Oz and the Senior Group will explore the
'Magic of Broadway' |
|
|
|
Sessions are on Saturday Mornings and will include
specialist vocal, dance and acting classes and the
shows will be performed at the end of November |
|
|
|
So for a chance to train with
Professional Actors, Musicians and Choreographers
and appear on stage, sign up NOW for the new term. |

Theatre believes that one staged theatre performance
is worth 100 rehearsals that’s why all at NYT work hard
to make sure the children perform a show per term.

Seniors 9 - 16
|
|
A three hour rehearsal
period covering all the disciplines of theatre performance
– singing, acting & movement. These rehearsals
will result in a theatre performance at the end of each
term. |

Juniors 6 - 11
|
|
A 2 hour rehearsal period
covering all aspects of theatre performance – singing,
acting, dance & movement. These rehearsals will
result in a theatre performance at the end of a term
or two terms depending on the length of the production.

Tots 5 - 8
|
|
A fun based, action packed
activity hour incorporating dance, singing & drama.
Focusing on confidence building, working as a team &
the basics of performing. Each term the tots will
feature in a theatre performance. |

Tiny Tots 3 - 5
|
|
30 fun filled minutes of
music, movement & song carefully crafted to hold your
little ones attention. A little of their time
will be spent preparing for your child’s magical NYT
on stage… ! theatre experience. Along with older
children, they will have a unique chance to take part,
have great fun and know that mum and dad will be watching
too! |

Uniform |
|
Jazz shoes must be worn by all members for safety reasons
& the performances. The NYT t-shirt & Black/navy
jogging bottoms/jazz pants will also be required.
NYT have a selection of merchandise for you to choose
from. All items are available at discounted prices
through your local NYT centre. No jeans are allowed
& long hair must be tied back. |

The arts require a very disciplined attitude. NYT reserves
the right to dismiss a consistently disruptive member. |
